Department for Communities COVID Recovery Programme

On Friday 17 December 2021, the DfC published details of 2021/22 financial support for not-for-profit organisations affected financially by the COVID 19 pandemic.

Grant awards of up to £50,000 are available. In some exceptional circumstances grants higher than £50,000 may also be awarded.

There will be seven awarding bodies and applicants can choose which body best suits their activities.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund is now open for applications, but most funders will open on the 7 January 2022 and close on the 28 January 2022.

Only one award can be made to any individual organisation. The seven delivery partners are:

  • Arts Council of Northern Ireland
  • Northern Ireland Screen
  • National Lottery Heritage Fund
  • Glór na nGael
  • Ulster-Scots Agency
  • Community Finance Ireland (Charities and Social Enterprises)

NICVA is planning to provide help and advice to applicants and will help with information webinars. The first Webinar is planned for Monday 10 January 2022.
