Woodland Trust – Tree Planting Winter 2022/23

The Woodland Trust are inviting Scout Groups close to their new woodland site –  Oughtagh Road in the Faughan Valley situated between Claudy and Drumahoe (Derry~Londonderry) to come along and take part in developing and planting this brand-new woodland.

Overview

Woodland Trust are running public planting days on the following dates, with free slots available. If you would prefer a private planting activity or a large group booking, please get in touch and Robert Watson (robertwatson@woodlandtrust.org.uk) will be happy to organise that for you too.

This activity links into a range of Scouting Skills and SPICES and is a very worthwhile event to engage your youth members in and highlighting how we conserve our environment.
