The Youth Leadership Programme has been devised in response to requests from both youth members and Scouters and is intended to introduce the basic concepts and ideas of what it is to be a youth leader.

These sessions have been informed by training as delivered by OCN Level 1 Award in Youthwork Practice and as such holds the potential for converting this training into an accredited qualification.

The Youth Leadership Programme begins by exploring the qualities and characteristics of a leader, builds skills and practical experiences relating to leadership and offers the opportunity for participants to develop and deliver their own training session to further support their knowledge of leadership.
